White Papers, information on how the system works
Fortify your Business Continuity/Disaster Prevention Readiness with the InvetexTM Advanced Water Sensing Solution.
InvetexTM has a unique product line that detects water leaks and temperature changes above dropped ceilings and at the floor level. The InvetexTM, HalotileTM and AquapedeTM products, with the InvetexTM monitoring system is the most comprehensive water detection solution available.

Water is the second leading cause of computer downtime! Don’t wait until it’s too late!

The HalotileTM is the only product on the market that provides comprehensive water detection coverage in suspended ceilings of computer rooms and data centers. The HalotileTM detects water leaks and temperature extremes. It is made from a unique durable closed cell foam and fabric that will not absorb water. Each HalotileTM contains 36 water sensors for enhanced detection and a sensor to detect temperature extremes.

The IMS Monitoring SystemTM provides visual and audio alarms and independent contact closures that will interface to existing alarm systems, auto dialers, and computers. Advanced notification and tracking applications are also available with the IMS RS232/USB/Ethernet/Wireless Interface.

The AquapedeTM is a flexible modular floor water sensor that snaps together to detect water on the floor and other flat surfaces. Each AquapedeTM link uses durable plastic to hold two floating metal parallel surface contacts. The floating feature adjusts to uneven floors to maintain full capabilities. The AquapedeTM has a major advantage over older cable sensors by eliminating memory re-coil that usually occurs with such cables. We are not susceptible to cleaning agents commonly used in commercial buildings.
The AquapedeTM system also monitors temperature extremes and can be teamed up with the Halotile system.

The HalotileTM detects water leaks and temperature changes.
The HalotileTM lays on top of existing suspended ceiling tiles. It is made of thin, light-weight, closed cell foam that allows for easy installation and maximum coverage. The pad has a small control box and a dual RJ-11 port that connects adjoining tiles. The HalotileTM system provides complete ceiling water detection.

HalotileTM Features

- Durable and flexible pad that can be trimmed in one direction to fit desired area
- Lightweight and easy to install, feet to allow for air circulation (anti-fungal) each tile weighs 14 oz
- IMS Monitoring System with local and remote notification via audio alarms, auto dialers, and RS232/Ethernet interface
- Minimum false alarms from small amounts of moisture, monitors out-of-range temperature changes above dropped ceilings
- IMS detects leak/temp. problems, monitoring of sensors on a per tile basis, LED light provides visual pin point leak detection
- Quick and easy installation

The HalotileTM system monitored remotely to notify you via cell phone, a standard security system, or an internal network via RS232/Ethernet interface. The HalotileTM also notifies you of freezing pipes or air conditioning failures in server rooms and other critical locations.

The HalotileTM is a lightweight and flexible pad designed to be fitted on a standard 2x2 ceiling tile. Each HalotileTM contains 36 water sensors. They are connected to adjoining tiles by standard telephone cables we supply with each tile. Each HalotileTM has a microprocessor that diagnoses the entire system.

The AquapedeTM is a unique device that effectively detects water on floors.
The AquapedeTM is a “snap together” low profile water sensing technology that allows the user to shape the product as needed.
The AquapedeTM is made of a very durable plastic with two parallel floating blades. This feature allows the unit to adjust to uneven floors and maintain its full monitoring capabilities.
AquapedesTM is a “snap together” system so you can shape it to the environment. It monitoring water overflow or leaks around an air conditioning unit or a water heater. It also monitors larger areas such as beneath a server room.
AquapedesTM work alone or snap together to monitor large areas. Once you make the desired shape, simply connect each joint wiring harness and to the monitoring system. This design gives the AquapedeTM the unique advantage over traditional "cable" sensors, eliminating memory or re-coil concerns typical with cable sensors.
